FISE World Shanghai 2025: Skateboarding Takes the Spotlight
FISE World Shanghai 2025 just wrapped up!
The event went down at West Bund from October 16–19, featuring new obstacles like the Spine Ramp and a loaded Skateboarding Street lineup packed with serious global talent.
This year’s big story is the Golden Ticket
It’s a coveted pass straight to the Battle of the Champions in Macau next March.
It’s not just a title; it’s a fast track to international spotlight, and the energy around the street comp is electric. Here are the Golden Ticket winners:
🏅Professional Men’s: Juni Kang (Korea)
🏅Open Women’s: Hong Yun (Shanghai)
While FISE has always mixed action sports, the Shanghai stop feels especially skate-driven. The event’s layout, culture, and crowd lean heavily into the street vibe — with music, art, and fashion all blending into that authentic skate energy.
Hurricane Group’s plan in 2026-2023 is all about taking urban spots worldwide. But they still want to keep the creative and underground vibe that makes scenes like skateboarding special.
China’s quickly turning into a major hotspot for contests and street spots. And with Shanghai FISE, it feels like just the beginning of a budding street skate event in the country.
👀 We’re looking at FISE Singapore and FISE Sakai, Japan next before it all leads to the Macau finale! 🔥
That’s it for today —
