Luis Mora isn’t just a skateboarder—he’s a filmmaker, storyteller, and cultural bridge. Growing up in Carson City, Nevada, Mora turned his early love for skating into a global creative journey, blending raw street energy with cinematic precision.
Through his YouTube channel and films, Luis captures more than skating —he captures moments.
His lens travels from Los Angeles to Tokyo’s tight streets, spotlighting skateboarding’s shared pulse across continents. What sets Luis apart is his narrative approach: he documents all aspects of a session with the homies —the atmosphere, the people, the battles, & clips—creating an emotional connection that goes beyond the board.
Now based largely in Japan, Luis continues to evolve as both creator and entrepreneur. His recent move to co-own the iconic skate brand Lakai shows his commitment to preserving and expanding skate culture from within. By merging authenticity, artistry, and business acumen, he’s reshaping what it means to be a modern Skate-Creator / Skate Business owner.
